Venus Pest Control is a licensed, insured, owner-run pest control company based in Miami Lakes, Florida. Around 80% of what we do is commercial. The owner still answers the phone and still runs service calls, which is either the most important thing on this page or an irrelevance, depending on how your last pest company treated you.

Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Business licence JB300282. Lawrence Arnold holds operator licence JF293170 and Brenda holds JF7738, both General Household Pest, with a Lawn endorsement that covers fire ant and turf work. Venus is a BBB Accredited Business rated A+ and a member firm of the National Pest Management Association.
Do you do termite inspections or treatment?
No. Venus does not hold a termite or wood-destroying organism licence, so we do not sell termite work of any kind. If that is what you need we will tell you straight away and point you to somebody licensed for it.
How big is the company?
Five licensed people and five trucks, including the owner, run out of one office in Miami Lakes. Small enough that the same technician keeps your building; large enough to route six Florida markets.
What areas do you cover?
Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and the Treasure Coast are the core, with Tampa Bay and Orlando open for dealership and fleet accounts, and Naples and Fort Myers opening next. Multi-site portfolios are quoted as one program regardless of how many counties they cross.

Yes, though it is about 20% of the business. The company is built around commercial programs, and we would rather be honest that that is where our depth is.
